Understanding (and Avoiding) the Key Components of Frailty

Nisha Rughwani, MD, helps CHV members and friends better understand and avoid key components of frailty....

In another of our series of lectures designed to inform Carnegie Hill seniors about managing key aspects of aging, Dr. Nisha Rughwani, MD, Associate Professor, Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, The Mount Sinai Hospital, addressed the subject of frailty, helping the audience better understand, and hopefully avoid, some of its key components.

The lecture took place in the Brick Church Parish Hall, and was attended by more than 30 members and friends. The audience listened appreciatively to Dr. Rughwani, a lively and interesting speaker, and many took home the handout she provided, which was also full of helpful information.

Our thanks to Dr. Rughwani, and to Brick Church for allowing us to use its space.
