Six lucky Carnegie Hill Villagers gathered in Diane Fuller’s apartment on May 8th to learn the art of making asparagus soup, the most recent of the soup-making sessions she has been offering. As always, Diane patiently demonstrated what it takes to produce a gourmet soup from fresh ingredients she purchases at the Union Square Farmer's Market--this time featuring one of springtime’s treats. 

The instructions were easy to follow and the delicious result was shared by all, accompanied by fresh Parmesan melted on toasted baguette slices and sliced duck breast on wheat crackers topped with Dijon mustard.
