Reminder for CHV Weekly Picnic Lunch

If you enjoy the brisk weather outside, we are inviting you to our last informal neighborhood picnic this season on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

If you enjoy the brisk weather outside, we are inviting you to our last informal neighborhood picnic this season on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.  Now that it has gotten a bit chilly and windy, you may want to bundle up if you are planning to attend.  The weather online says that tomorrow will be cloudy and the temperature will range from 51 - 57 degrees.

For those of you who wish to continue meeting together on Wednesdays at noon, please feel free to keep holding these picnics on your own as long as you wish.

We will gather in the pleasant, shady open space between 93rd and 94th Streets, just east of Madison Avenue (behind the 40 East 94th Street building).  It is open to the public and has paving and park bench seating which is perfect for a small group gathering.  We ask that everyone wear a mask and observe social distancing by staying 6 feet apart. Anyone who has a folding chair is welcome to bring one.

Weather permitting, simply bring your lunch or a cold drink, and sit and visit for an hour or so.  No need to let us know in advance; you can decide at the last minute and just show up.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
