Special Thanksgiving Zoom Broadcast By CareGiverCare

As you may know, CareGiverCare is a wonderful non-profit organization serving New York State, whose mission is to provide support for family caregivers of dementia patients living at home. CHV Member Eileen Fusco has alerted us to a special program that CareGiverCare is offering via Zoom on Thanksgiving Day, in which she and her husband Cono will participate.

Recognizing that family holidays such as Thanksgiving can be especially stressful and lonely for family caregivers, CGC’s five hour online session will include a range of entertainment such as live Italian opera, a group discussion of the movie Nuovo Cinema Paradiso (to be screened in advance), and a segment hosted by Eileen and Cono, entitled Heritage, Foods and Gratitude reflecting on their different backgrounds and how their ancestors found their way to this country originally.
