CHV member and museum docent Dena Bock led a group of nine co-members on a scintillating tour of this current exhibition at the New York Historical Society entitled Hudson Rising.

As the museum website describes it, the exhibition “explores 200 years of ecological change and environmental activism along ‘the most interesting river in America’ through artifacts, media, and celebrated Hudson River School paintings,” and “reflects on how human activity has impacted the river and…shaped industrial development, commerce, tourism, and environmental awareness.” For further information, please visit the museum website at https://www.nyhistory.org
