Men’s Discussion Group II
Based on the popularity of our first men’s discussion group (see above), a second men’s group has been formed to accommodate additional CHV members. Like the existing one, this group’s size will be limited to allow meaningful participation by all members, but a few places are still available.
On Wednesday, June 19, one of the group’s members, John Alexander, will give a short presentation on immigration to kick off the group's discussion. If you are interested in attending this session or joining the group on an ongoing basis, please contact Joe Levin at [email protected].

Do You Appreciate Good Cheese? Like to Learn More About It?
Following up on her popular “Soup Groups,” held earlier this year, CHV member Diane Fuller has kindly offered to share her expertise on another favorite food category, this time demystifying the world of cheese.
On three Wednesday afternoons this fall at 1:00 PM, participants will taste and discuss up to six different cheeses at Diane’s home:
September 11, American Cheese: From Jasper Caves in Vermont to Cowgirl Creamery in California, cheese makers have developed artisanal cheese of amazing quality, including cow, goat and sheep cheese varieties.
October 9, The Fall Cheese Plate: Some cheeses hit their mark at this time of year, and are best enjoyed as cooler temperatures and shorter days become the norm.
November 13, Serving the Holiday Cheese Platter: Learn appetizing ways to serve cheeses during your holiday festivities--and what to serve them with.
Each session will be limited to seven, due to space considerations. As good cheese is expensive, participants will be asked to pay a fee of $20-25.00 in advance of each session for purchase of the samples served. Sign up for specific dates, or for all three. CHV members receive first priority.
Please let Diane know via email if you would like to join the group at [email protected].
