2022 Spring Member Reception Cancelled

After a great deal of thought and discussion as COVID trends have worsened around us recently, the CHV board has regretfully decided to cancel our planned reception at The Church of the Heavenly Rest on June 8^th.

As you can no doubt appreciate, the fact that we are a seniors’ organization, that current infection trends are headed in an unfortunate direction at present in the city and that the space we had reserved was indoors all contributed to our decision.

We are deeply disappointed not to greet our friends, as promised, and meet some new ones as well. But fear not! We will be together again, as originally promised, before long. In the meantime, our other events will continue as planned with necessary precautions. Please stay tuned. And stay safe.
