Return of Popular Neighborhood Picnic Lunches

CHV will begin holding its popular picnic lunches for members and friends every Wednesday at 12:00noon at the pleasant open space between E93rd and E94th Streets, just east of Madison Avenue.

Now that spring is finally here, we will be continuing our weekly informal neighborhood picnics that so many CHV members enjoyed last year.

Our picnic lunches will be held on Wednesdays at 12:00 noon every week from now through the summer and into the fall, weather permitting.

We will gather in the pleasant, shady open space between 93rd and 94th Streets, just east of Madison Avenue (behind the 40 East 94th Street building).  It is open to the public and has paving and park bench seating which is perfect for a small group gathering.  We will observe social distancing by staying 6 feet apart and anyone who has a folding chair is welcome to bring one.

Simply bring your lunch or a cold drink, and sit and visit for an hour or so.  No need to let us know in advance; you can decide at the last minute and just show up.
