Visit to The Islamic Cultural Center

A visit to The Islamic Cultural Center of New York 97th Street, between Second and Third Avenues

CHV is delighted to offer a visit to the Islamic Cultural Center of New York (ICCNY), located in our Carnegie Hill neighborhood.   The stunning pink marble, post-modern building, designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, was the first purpose-built mosque in New York City.

On October 26, at 12:45PM, we will meet at the entrance to the mosque, 97th Street east of Third Avenue, to be in place to observe the 1:00PM prayer service (less than 10 minutes).  Afterwards, we will meet with Imam Saad, hear his personal story and have an opportunity for an open discussion.   Our meeting with the Imam will last approximately one hour.

The ICCNY has indicated that they are pleased to host all interested CHV members.  If you would like to join us, please register on line.
