Please join us on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 4:00pm to hear fellow CHV member, Dr. Lawrence R. Krakoff, MD, Professor of Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center (Retired) share his medical knowledge and personal views about cardiac care.

Dr. Krakoff observes that in our lifetime, medicine has radically changed in ways that could not have been predicted fifty years ago, when he graduated from medical school.  This talk will summarize progress, mostly good, but with a few concerns somewhat biased by his experience and that of his patients and friends with inclusion of some recent science and general advice.

The lecture will be held in The Living Room of the Brick Church Parish House. Enter at 62 East 92nd Street and take the elevator to the third floor.  The talk will last from 4:00pm to approximately 5:30pm.
