Tour of The Conservatory Garden: Second Tour

You are invited to join a tour of Central Park's Conservatory Garden on Thursday June 1st at 2PM.  CHV member Rachel Strauber will lead the tour, the second she will have given this spring.  This tour is meant to accommodate those who could not attend the first tour on April 27, and to welcome other CHV members.  Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux did not plan a formal garden in Central Park, but we will learn how the Garden developed and  about the women who were chiefly responsible. Rachel is a member of the Central Park Conservancy’s Women's Committee Docent Committee,

There are 6 spaces available: some of those who could not attend before have already been registered.  Attendees should meet at the Garden entrance at 5th Avenue and 105th Street at 2:00PM.  There is no charge for the tour.  If you are interested in joining this tour, please register by clicking the green button below.  If you are unable to join us after registering, please let us know no later than the day before our visit by emailing [email protected].   This will allow us enough time to notify someone on the waiting list.
