Japanese Art Tour -- Brooklyn Museum of Art

Curator Joan Cummins will lead a tour of Japanese Art at the Brooklyn Museum.

Please join CHV for a special tour of Japanese Art.  Curator of Asia Art, Joan Cummins will lead us on a special exhibit of Japanese Art. Utagawa Hiroshige’s 100 Famous Views of Edo—one of the Brooklyn Museum’s greatest treasures—returns to public display for the first time in twenty-four years. The Museum’s complete set of these celebrated prints is among the world’s finest, full of vibrant colors preserved by decades in the dark. See the Museum program here.

The tour will take place on Wednesday, May 8th at 11:30 am.  The group should gather in the lobby of the museum where Roberta Krakoff and Joan will meet you. Directions to the Brooklyn Art Museum will be sent to all who register.
