Sept 17th Tour: Jenny Holzer at the Guggenheim

A tour of the Guggenheim's Jenny Holzer exhibition, "Light Line", on Tuesday, September 17th. The tour will begin at 11:00AM.

Please join us for a tour of Jenny Holzer's “Light Line" at the Guggenheim Museum.   The museum describes this as a “reimagination” of Holzer's landmark 1989 installation. Climbing all six ramps, “Light Line” transforms the building with a display of scrolling texts, epitomizing the artist's use of the written word and of non-traditional media.   In addition to “Light Line”, the exhibition features a selection of Holzer’s works from the 1970s to the presents. A New Yorker review said “There are no bad places to see Holzer’s art, but the inner spiral of the Guggenheim is a particularly good one.”
