Copy of May 6 Central Park Tour
Please join us for a Central Park tour featuring the decorations designed by Jacob Wrey Mould. Mention Central Park and most people know that Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux designed the park in the mid 19th century. But how many people have heard of Jacob Wrey Mould or are familiar with his contributions to the park? Join Rachel Strauber, a member of the Docent Committee of the Central Park Conservancy's Women's Committee, to learn a bit about Mould. She will focus in on the decorations he designed for the Terrace, the Arcade, the Mall, and the fountains at Cherry Hill and Bow Bridge.

The tour will take place on Monday, May 6th, and will begin at 10:30AM and run until noon. Attendees should meet on the park drive that continues 72nd Street, overlooking Bethesda Terrace. There will be no charge, but the group will be limited to 12 attendees. If you would like to join us, please press the green “Register” button at the bottom of the page.
