October 8 Central Park Tour

A tour of Central Park, featuring Jacob Mould's sculptural development of Bethesda Terrace, on Tuesday, October 8th. The tour will begin at 10:30AM.

Join us for a Central Park tour, featuring the work of Jacob Wrey Mould.  Most people know that Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux designed the park.   But how many have heard of Jacob Wrey Mould or know about his contributions to the park?   Mould was a British trained architect.  His designs for the Park were influenced by John Ruskin, by the 19th century  fascination with nature, and by his apprenticeship with Owen Jones, whom he assisted in publishing studies on non-European decorative arts.
