Impressionism Tour at The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Join us for a docent-lead tour of the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Please join us at the Metropolitan Museum on Jan. 21 at 10:30 AM for an exploration of the museum’s world-class collection of Impressionist and Post Impressionist art. The tour will be led by Frances Garrett.

Frances had a career as a designer before moving to New York City where she earned a Master’s Degree in Museum Studies from New York University. She became involved at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she has been giving tours for 20 years.

Come investigate the Metropolitan Museum’s expansive collection of 19th C French art that presents the complex times, the ideas and influences of Impressionism, and the diverse, often eccentric personalities who created the ground-breaking art that is now some of the best known and loved styles of art in the world. 

The tour will be limited to 15 people and the cost of the tour is $15, payment of which needs to be arranged at the time of registration in accordance with CHV policy.  You can pay online with a credit card at the time of registration or send a check within 7 days.
