Honoring Alden Prouty
On October 9th, our own Alden Prouty will be honored at a HAFOP dinner. HAFOP, of course, is Health Advocates For Older People, a group that promotes healthy aging by giving Upper East Side seniors supports, tools and techniques to live and thrive independently. CHV often cooperates with HAFOP: we share many of the same goals in the same community. On October 9th, HAFOP will honor three “New York Treasures” at a dinner. One of them is CHV Treasurer and Board Member Alden Prouty. In the invitation to this event, HAFOP says:
A L D E N F I N C H P R O U T Y
Alden Finch Prouty is recognized for her distinguished career spanning nonprofit
development, communications, and international business, as well as her decades of service
to the community. A longtime New Yorker, she has held leadership roles in educational,
cultural, and religious organizations, including co-founding Carnegie Hill Village, to help
local residents age in place. Health Advocates honors Alden for her enduring commitment
to civic life and her meaningful contributions to the people of our city.
We couldn't agree more! Several CHV members will be attending this event. If you are interested in the event, please click here to be taken to a live copy of the invitation. A picture of it appears below.
