Whitney Biennial Celebration
The eighty-second edition of the Whitney Biennial (https://whitney.org), the longest running survey of contemporary American Art in the United States, features work by 56 artists, duos and collectives that reflect the current moment. The biennial offers space to explore the shifting currents in America and what it means to be an American. The biennial does not offer a definitive answer, but rather it is an invitation to tune into the moods offered by a groups of national and international artists. Alongside artists from across this country the biennial features works by artists from places marked by the broad reach of the United States from Afghanistan to Vietnam.

Together, the works capture the complexity of the current times. Andy Warhol coined the term “misfitting together” an apt phrase for describing the work in this exhibition. The tour will take place on June 3 at 11:00. Please purchase your tickets here. Space is limited to ten members. We will meet inside the museum near the ticket area.
