Tour of Klee Exhibit at Jewish Museum
“Paul Klee: Other Possible Worlds”, the first American museum show to focus on the difficult late years of his career, is on view at the Jewish Museum. The Nazis called Klee's art subversive and degenerate; he was fired from his teaching post, and forced into exile. The New York Times calls this “an incisive and boldly revisionist exhibition that brings us a newly vulnerable Klee.” A late addition to the show is “Angelus Novus”, which has what the Times calls a “fascinating backstory.” (press here to read).

On Monday, June 29, Roberta Krakoff will host a CHV tour of this exhibit, which will be led by a Jewish Museum docent. We will meet at 11:00AM at the Jewish Museum, 1109 Fifth Avenue at 92nd Street. Fifteen spaces are available. There is a $15 charge for the tour, which includes Museum admission. You will be able to stay on when the tour ends, perhaps to visit the Museum's newly renovated upper floors. When you register, you will be able to pay the fee online, or you will receive directions on how to pay directly. If you would like to join us, please press the green button below.
