Future Informal Gatherings for CHV Weekly Picnic

Please join us for this week's CHV weekly neighborhood picnic on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 12:00 noon.

This will be the last formal announcement for our picnics, but we hope that many of you will still meet up in the open space between 93^rd and 94^th Streets (behind the 40 East 94^th Street building) to enjoy the Indian summer.  As CHV’s friendly picnic lunches for members and friends have been so popular during the summer, you should feel free to continue these gatherings on your own while the nice weather lasts.

The space is open to the public and has paving and park bench seating which is perfect for a small group gathering.  Anyone who has a folding chair is welcome to bring one.  Please remember to wear a mask and to observe social distancing by staying 6 feet apart.

Weather permitting, simply bring your lunch or a cold drink, and sit and visit for an hour or so.  No need to let us know in advance; you can decide at the last minute and just show up.
